Aloo or Guar ki Phali ki Sabji


Guar ki phali also known as gawar ki phali cook everywhere in part of India . It is delicious and easy to cook recipe with various nutrients like it is good source of protein  , calcium ,  phosphorus and good for bones , good for diabetes and also aid in weigh loss .
It has cooked  in different manner in different part of India . Overall it is a delicious recipe yet healthy . 

INGREDIENT

1/2 kg Guar Phali
1/4 kg Potato
1 cup Onion
3 tsp Oil
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 cup Tomato
1-2 Green chilli
Salt to taste
1/2 Red chilli powder
1/3 Turmeric (haldi)
1/2 Amchur
1/4  cup Water
1 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)

INSTRUCTION

1. Firstly , wash and cut guar phali and potato into small pieces .
2. Take out the cooker and put on gas stove with high flame . Add 3 tsp of oil , then add 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) , 1 cup onion and 2 green chilli .
3. Add salt to taste , 1/2 tsp red chilli powder ,and 1/2 turmeric .
4. Add guar phali , potatoes into cooker and 1/4 cup water  and cook for 2 cooker whistle (in pan approx 7-8 minutes) .
5. After that , open the cooker and add 1/2 tsp amchur (optional) for chatpata(piquant) taste .
6. Your sabji is ready to serve . serve hot with roti .
