Rice is cereal grain which is consumed in every part of the world but with different type of method . Rice is a good food if it is consumed in proper and right quantity . This recipe is easy to cook with no special rice cooker .
INGREDIENT
2 tsp oil
1/2 lemon
1 cup rice
2 cup water
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 pinch of dry fenugreek (kasuri methi)
INSTRUCTION
1. Soak 1 cup rice for 10 minutes and then remove the water and after that wash it for one more time .
2 . Now turn on the gas on high flame and put the pan on it .
3 . Add 2 tsp oil , 1/2 tsp cumin seeds , salt to taste , washed rice and 2 cup water .
4 . Now squeeze half lemon into the rice so that rice does not stick .
5 . Then cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes and check whether the rice is soft or not . If rice are not soft put 1/4 cup water and cook for another 3-4 minutes .
6 . Your rice are ready . Now garnish it with dry fenugreek and enjoy with any veggies of your choice .
