Quick and easy recipe of Masala Jeera Rice

Masala rice is a rice with lot of  spicies . Indians love spicy food . It is easy recipe with minimum ingredient .

INGREDIENT

1 cup rice
2 cup water
Salt to taste
1/2 red chilli powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 turmeric (haldi)
2 tsp oil
1/2 cup curd
1/2 lemon
1/2 packet maggi masala (optional)

INSTRUCTION

1 . Soak the  rice in water for 5 minutes and then remove water into it  and again wash the rice one more time and  remove the water .
2. Turn on the gas on high flame and put the pan on gas stove .
3 . Add 2 tsp oil , 1/2 tsp cumin seeed , salt to taste ,  1/2 red chilli powder , 1/2 packet maggi masala and 1/2 turmeric into the pan .
4 .  Put the washed rice into the pan and then add 2 cup water .
5 . Now  squeeze 1/2 lemon on  the rice so that rice does not stick .
6 . Then cover the pan with  a lid and cook  for 10 minutes .
7 . Your Masala rice is ready in no time . Enjoy it with curd .

Note : Water is always 2* of rice
