Healthy and tasty recipe of soya chunks

Soya chunks are very good source of protein even more than eggs and it reduces the risk of osteoporosis in menupausal women. This recipe is super nutritious and also very tasty. This recipe can be eaten even on diets.

INGREDIENT

2 cup Soya chunks
1 cup roughly chopped onion
1/2 cup roughly chopped tomato
1 tsp jeera
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 turmeric
1/3 tsp chicken masala (optional)
Oil

INSTRUCTION

1. Take 2 cup Soya chunks and put in a bowl and add the water until the soya chunk fully dipped in the water and rest for 10 min until the chunks absorb the water and become spongy.
2. After 10 min , press the chunks and remove the excess water from soya chunks.
3. For gravy , took out the pan and place it on gas stove on low flame  ,add 2 tsp oil , 1 tsp jeera , Salt to taste , 1/2 red chilli powder , 1/2 turmeric and 1/3 tsp chicken masala (optional)
4. Now add 1 cup roughly chopped onion , 1/2 cup chopped tomato and mix it with the spices.
5. Add 1/2 cup water in the pan and cook the masala for 5-6 min until the onion and tomato become a little soft.
6. Now  take out the gravy masala in a jar and grind it well until it become smooth paste.
7. Now pour the gravy in the pan and add the soya chunks into the gravy and cook for 7-8 min.
8. Your soya chunks recipe is ready to serve.
