Kidney beans (Rajma) ki sabji recipe

Kidney beans(rajma) is cooked all over the world with different style. Kidney beans are very tasty and yet nutritious. It help in regulating blood sugar , maintain weight loss and prevents from cancer. In India , it is mostly eaten as sabji with rice or phulka. 

INGREDIENT

2 cup rajma
Salt to taste 
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 turmeric
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 cup onion
1 cup tomato
2 green chilli
1/2 tsp amchur (optional)
1 tsp cumin seeds
Oil
Handful of kasuri methi

INSTRUCTION

1.  Soak the rajma overnight and boil it for 10 -12 min for pan or 3 whistle for cooker. Now check the rajma soft or not by pressing it. If it break easily to it is ready or if it a little hard , boil it for 4-5 min or 1 more whistle in the cooker and take out in a bowl
2. Now add 3-4 tsp oil in the pan or cooker , 1tsp cumin seeds , 1 cup onions , 1 cup tomato and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.
3. Now cook it for 2-3 min and stir well.
4. After that add Salt to taste , 1/2 tsp red chilli powder and 1/2 turmeric and add 3 cup water in which you have boil rajma and add the boiled rajma.
5. Now cook it for 10-12 min or 3 whistle in cooker.
6. Your rajma ki sabji is ready , now add handful of kasuri methi and amchur powder if you have , otherwise avoid it.
7. You rajma ki sabji is ready to serve. Enjoy it with rice or chapattis.
